Any Chance of Another VZ-58 Receiver Group Buy?

I know it was probably a big hassle for Vic... but I think I might not be the only one who missed out on the last great group buy for ORF receivers and compliance parts. Any chance of running part dieux?? Thanks!!

Is there any chance of adding myself on the list of people wanting one of these? However, I will have to confuse the issue a little more. Is there any chance of getting one of these receivers in what would be considered an 80% receiver? I live in the occupied PRK and cannot get a 100% receiver through the gestapo. I will need the Fed compliant parts also.

Calguns.net is putting together a group buy for the VZ58 receivers and compliance parts kits from Ohio Rapid Fire. They only need three more people to complete the deal. If you missed ours here you better get on the wagon fast!

Calguns' buy is said and done.
Searched google for another but no luck. Thier regular price is a lil steep for me right now, gota add in shipping and transfer fee, just shy of 400 bills. I kinda hate to sell off one of my pets.

Maybe enough folks will get interested again.

I just talked with Joe on the phone.
He's waiting for a response from Ohio Rapid Fire.
Looks like theres some strong interest already and we have 1/3 of the required 25 receivers to purchase.
I"ve already ordered my kit and some mags.
Anyone who's seriously interested, post here. Although I think the official group buy will be handled through Calguns.net, I don't know if its neccessary for you to registar there. Just let Joe know you want in.

Since we've heard of other requests on other forums, we're spreading the word. So we should compile the 25 quick enough. I've also sugested that we don't slam to door close as soon as the magic number chimes since there has been a bunch of people who've missed the boat on a couple group buys already. Such as ourselves. SO if any of you are members of some other gun forum, let them know about this. I've already posted on gunandgame myself and I think Joes posted on falfiles, I"ll check and do so if he hasn't yet.

Also, word has it that some people are still waiting on the ORF 922 compiance parts set from the last group buy. We'll find out what the lead time will be for us to get some should they not have enough in stock at time of order. There are other places that sell the 922 parts if they're going to have a long wait time. Personally I don't plan on waiting till Xmas before I can take mine to the range. I'd rather pay the extra 10-20 bucks full price from someone that has them instock.

I just ordered a parts kit, so I'm in for a receiver, and probably a 922 parts set if they're available when things get going.

I'm completely new to the vz 58, but I've been eyeballing them for a while. anyone know where I can get a fixed bakelite buttstock?

No on the receivers and no on the paint, unless I wanted to buy 130 liters of it. He'd have to order it. At least hes on the ball and has looked into it. ?Another group buy on the paint?

You know, I was thinking about this, and Lauer makes a whole bunch of different colors of duracoat. I'll bet a skilled artist would be able to mix the correct color of green with the available duracoat colors.
Might be worth looking into.

Theres already a couple paint recipes out there. One for the blue-grey color and one for the blacker color. I've seen pics and they're a pretty good match. I'll have to find them and attach a link here for everyone.

Hi Gents, if your interested in jointing in on this VZ58 group buy at Calguns.net were are about a week away before we close the list down. On the front page of the forums scroll down to Commerical Sales/ Deals. then look for VZ58 Group Buy, you should find it on the 1st page. Once there go to the buy list on pg3. For info on this buy read post #28 and #51.

Shotgun news has a 2 part article on the VZ58. Heard through the grapevine that a major gun mag will have a article in August or Sept. Your all welcome to join in on the buy.
