Gwinnett Fairgrounds show Sat and Sun? [Archive]

Show was actually fairly crowded. The hall, which has been half empty at times, was about 90% full with a few vendors in the entrance area. Definitely a cut above the Ga Mountain shows there. $8 admission, but includes both days. A few good walk-ins but nothing I couldn't live without. Fair number of milsurps and black rifles. Prices appeared to be within reason. I was tempted by an M1 carbine, not import marked, but in a Choate stock, asking $500 firm. Didn't buy, although I might regret it. Did see several nice Chinese SKS's in the $200 range. I've got enough, but always enjoy looking.

I did succumb to a fired little, but still in the box, Norinco 1911A1. Paid $400, which is a bit high, but it's very nice, and they are hard to find in nice condition.

All in all, a decent sized show.
