Help guys.....

I am looking for a French M1949 hat. It would be the same pattern the French wore in Indo-China and Algeria. Any help would be great. I didn't know where else to ask, so I turned to the board.

I have looked on ebay and a general internet search. No luck. I do have a bigger head... A reproduction is what I am looking for to use.

Merci.

There were different models of "chapeau de brousse" in use in Indochina, US and British bush hats, French dark olive or light sand colors, camouflaged hats made out of British "peau de saucisson" (windproof) or US WWII Pacific camo.
In Algeria and later it was mostly light sand coloured hats, or camouflaged Mle 53 hat for the paratroopers and dark olive for Navy commandos.
