I bought this one a while back because it all matching. I assume it is a rebuilt M1903 unless Turkey actually made their own receivers. All numbered parts to include receiver, bolt, magazine assembley, rear sight and rear sight leaf match. The import mark is CAI. It is complete with rod. Bore is excellent.

Questions:
1. Is this a Model 1903 rebuilt or complete Turkish Manufactured to include receiver?

2. Has anyone else seen this model all matching?

Thanks,

I can't answer your questions but that sure is a good looking rifle!

It's not a model 1903 at all. It's a model 38 K.Kale, which was made at the Kirikale factory near Ankara, Turkey. The model 1903's were all made in Germany as a contract build for the Ottoman Empire. Re-furb'ed 1903's do NOT carry the "K.Kale" marking.

Nice looking Turk, though! Enjoy!

Matching model 38 Turkish mausers are very uncommon and definitely worth more money than the common mismatched ones.
