Was the 94 wells fargo commemorative made with two different finishes on the receiver, silver and pewter? If so, were they separate production runs at different times, or did they make some of each in the one run. Regards

No, there were not two versions. Some people simply polished the pewter receivers when they tarnished and made them look bright. The same happened on the US Bicentennial and the Legendary Frontiersman that had pewter receivers. Hope this helps.
