More likely the M1950 (different internal machining of boltways, "double broached" from m1930) which was effectively the .30/06 , post-WW II version of the older M30 design.
Paint may be Black (Army) or Grey (Navy/Airforce. Crest "ABL 1952" under "Crown B" ( King Baudoin (Baldwin) of Belgium).
Most examples of these rifles are/were in almost new condition when surplussed in the 1970s.
FN also made these for Colombia,(Rifles and Carbines) and Morocco (as carbines), also in cal.30; Some later Moroccan carbines were in 7,62 Nato.
Very fine rifles for collecting and competition shooting; Effectively the last of the big production bolt action rifles.

thanks Doc my reference to a M1930 come out of an older book on military rifles so it is nice to know what it is
the rifle has been repaired on the stock new piece of wood grafted onto the bottom of the butt large enough to be used for the bottom screw on the butt plate
I shoot in Military rifle events and just like using military rifles
I picked this up for $225 (US) so the price seemed very good
