I need a tigered '88 and a 1890, and I think I'm pretty good for basic flavors, and can move on with no hesitation about getting multiples.

:) Very nice photos.
I've been trying to photograph my collection, but not enough light, nor a clear enough space to shoot without background distraction.
I think I'm going to bring my entire collection to the gun club & try to get some photographs there.

Dude, I really enjoy your photography! Very non-linear and it shows a real, off-the-wall style of artistic creativity.
Nicely done! :)

Beautiful rifles! I'm not much for the "emptied the silverware drawer look" of the pile, but yet I'm sure they were all carefully placed (I'm not the most progressive person) ;) . The stripedy ones are awful purty :p

Nope, the bent-bolt carbines are indeed carbines, it's just the angle that makes them look longer.
The reason for the jackstraw arrangement was I *tried* to get the rifles arranged such that they all showed stripes. For those of you (who I pity) that don't have stripey rifles, the grain has to be at a certain angle to the light to make it show best, and at other angles doesn't show hardly at all.
Sadly, fourth-from-top barely looks striped in the pics, yet has phenomenal grain in proper light. But I got most of them to show some stripe at the same time, even with mediocre lighting...
