Rick the Librarian2: Are you the same Rick the Librarian that posts on Culver S.P?
Any way I thought that I would ask you off the board if you could give me a private appraisal of a Remington-made Springfield 1903 A3 "Modified" made in May 1942. I acquired it in 2003 from the CMP. It was a service grade rifle, it functions perfectly and is an accurate shooter. (I believe that it was rebuilt at Springfield Armory after WW2.) If you do not mind doing this then I will send to you as many pictures and provide as much information that I can for you to give me an a good idea of what to ask for the rifle on the WTS /WTT board. I have been lurking for a few weeks looking at what some other members have posted with similar rifles. Please advise me what to do. Thank you for your time spent reading this. FredClemmer
Yes, that is the one.
I think the reserve on this rifle was above 500 dollars, but it has not sold in some time.
Rick I have decided to sell the 1903.I have never sold a gun thru the internet before and I need you to tell me if you want to see some pics or just how you want to get this done.I have a friend with a FFL who says he can help me box it up right and show me how to ship it.Contact me at this site and we can work out the details.
