Hello Kelt :
Do you have any idea how many Potts and Hunts Chassepot rifles with the naval anchor were made, and which still probably have survived ? How hard would it be to find one in very good condition ? How much should one pay ? How desirable are they ?
I would be grateful for any information
Thank you in advance.
my name is @lain Petit from Tir Mailly Forum...help me please:

et en plus ils jactent que l'anglich ces barbares!
I've got a mas 49 scope and am trying to zero it per your directions in the following thread:
So I'm not clear for elevation what I'm turning. With the screws loosened (or even the elevation cap removed) when I use the "tool" the turret still clicks and moves the range scale. Could you tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Kelt is without any doubt the "canon" source of information and wisdom regarding the MAS 44, 49 & 49/56 rifles- and many more French arms. I learned more from his posts regarding my MAS 49/56 than years of research could have produced.
Thank you, Kelt!
