    The 1886 Steyr arrived toay. Serial 8693J. Looks pretty good for a 125 year old. Stock and receiver match, but bolt has the pi mark on it with no other numbers. Got brass and bullets from buffalo arms, looks like I will have to blow them out with some .429 44 bullets first. I am planning on sticking to the low side of Trapdoor loads, although the locking wedge seems to have more surface area than I expected. I realize steel was a lot more like iron back then though.
