    thats really cool, i had no idea they have this type of surgery for dogs, its pretty much the same as for humans, i know it was not cheap, the weight loss does sound like stress, and i`m sure her eyes are real itchy, got any pics?

    she was diagnosed with double cataract at age 2 1/2. we took her in 2 weeks ago to get it done. she was like 3 hours in it. they shoot the bad lens with a lazer beam till it can be sucked out with a tiny needle which they do. then they slip a fake lens into her eye under the eye tissue. they use tiny stitch the size of a human hair. shes on 3 eye drops and 2 pills. shes lost 5 pounds since the surgery prob from all the meds and stress caused by the cone. shes been gettting really freindly and playing a lot now.

    thanks, i have had GSD`s all my life, 3 of them are mine, the other belongs to a friend, 2 of mine are registered therapy dogs, my 3 are rescues, tell my more about the cataract surgery

    hey ken, that is a bunch of very beautiful dogs. my g shepherd just got done with double cataract surgery. i love yur picture man. gotta love the breed
