You're welcome fausto. Sometimes military firearms are refinished in case lots. Such as the huge overhaul program done at the US Springfield Armory following WW2. Thousands of pistol, M1 rifles, M1 Carbines, BAR's and SMG's were refurbished and stored for future use. The Canadians may have done the same thing on a smaller scale and your Inglis might have just had a blemished finish that didn't pass inspection. I have 3 Inglis HP's, one of which is a No1 Mk1* with an original buttstock that was reparkerized. The other 2 are No2 Mk1*'s in all original finish with the serial numbers in the white. I've also seen Canadian overhauls that were reparkerized as you described yours. Post some photos if you can.
