You probably know all this but heres some hard learned facts on spanish shotguns ( which i also really like). On doubles the wood just behind and above receiver and/or lockplate tend to crack even on ayas and better one so heads up. Also the ejectors can break easily and tough to fix. Hot loads/steel will take some out fast so check for bulges along barrel just in front of chamber.
Some of the "cheap" ones like Ungareta (sp?) are better than most. I think 20s are stronger than 12s as many have same frame. Just my .02 take care !!

I have cold blued 6 shotguns and 5 handguns and there is no question that Oxpho-blue is the best I tried. I read somewhere, maybe Brownells, that cold blue in the barrel is fine and even improves it. By the way, I agree that cold bluing is not as good as hot blue BUT it is extremely easy to fix a mark, scratch etc. The guns I have done always look great because it takes me about 15 minutes to fix any marks.

jjk308, you might want to try one of the Crimson Trace lasers on a defensive gun. It works very well for me, and I have the same difficulties you do with vision.

Let's establish a back channel so sober men can communicate. The children on the sound off board have become very tiring.
