No OG stamp, so it probably was issued to an outfit. For the most part, they must have left this rifle in the rack, though, and used their Garands & carbines instead for their drills & manuevers.

Thanks Brad, you answered both of my questions. Based on the wear to the buttplate, I wonder if this was a ceremonial rifle of some sort? The bore is as-new, so I doubt that any blanks were ever shot...

Bought a P-14 and received it today. Looks like it's complete, except for a missing stacking swivel. It's an Eddystone and the bolt appears to be EP matching. I think that it's in an Eddystone stock...
