I finally found some time to put this rifle back into shooting condition. The best news is that I was able to do so using all of the original USGI parts that it came with...
Like the other guys, I received my copy today (#31) and wanted to thank Russ & Steve for putting together such a fantastic book! The fact that most of the pages are in color really makes the pictures...
Sorry Josh, but you'd be the last guy that I'd ever buy something from with feedback like this.

Wow, I must have been asleep when I typed this thread! For the broken off aperture stem, all I would need to use is an Easy Out extractor to back it out of the hole!
Still need advice on the...
Trying to figure out how to attack my latest project. I have a M44 that needs some work to get it in shooting condition. Besides needing to clean up the stock & metal, I also need to:
Fix the...
Bought an Enfield from cubrock and the deal was one of the smoothest that I've ever had! Mailed Steve my payment on a Monday and the rifle arrived on Friday! Rifle was as-described and Steve's...

Had a nice, smooth transaction with Story (Adam). His communication was excellent and he shipped promptly. Rifle was as-described. I would not hesitate to do business with him again in the future!

Thanks Brad, you answered both of my questions. Based on the wear to the buttplate, I wonder if this was a ceremonial rifle of some sort? The bore is as-new, so I doubt that any blanks were ever shot...
Bought a P-14 and received it today. Looks like it's complete, except for a missing stacking swivel. It's an Eddystone and the bolt appears to be EP matching. I think that it's in an Eddystone stock...
A few more pictures .....
I've had a shooter 1903 & A3 before, but I just picked up my first collectible one and wanted to know if it is "correct". The gentleman that I bought it from said that his grandfather was a gunsmith...
