Well lets just say this rifle may be a very good deal. I'm not a collector of Swedish military rifles so I couldn't justify having something that valuable sitting in the safe if it. To be honest I am...
Can anyone give me a ballpark value for an fm/23-36 in very good condition, I have located one and am wondering what a resonable price would be?
Cheers,

Nice fullstock! I knew the 7x57's were less common, but didn't realise they were that rare. I know of a older (steel bottom metal) 4100 in 7x57 thats been sitting on a rack for a couple of years now,...
Rifle is sold pending funds.
I was aware of the fact that a licensed importer is needed in the US, as well as the correct import permit. I was however under the impression that the 5 year rule only applies to surplus military...
I have a CG-80 that I just don't use and I need funds for another project, so its up for sale. The rifle has a Soderin diopter with the sunshade. It has a Shultz and Larsen barrel, as well as a two...
Just stumbled across this

Currently there are 45 minutes left in the...
Glad to hear that Baribal, M98 pins are crtainly easier to come by so I'll get one and have at 'er. I am familiar with how to disassemble the HVA bolt, but have not previously removed the pin from...
So I've come across a Husqvarna 1640 that has the tip of the firing pin damaged. I don't have photos, but the pin is basically chipped at the tip, making it quite sharp. The rifle fires reliably, but...

Saw this CG80, scoped, with side-safety, and .308 barrel that looks to be made by Norma.
I think its a bubba, but its a nice one.
A trigger from the Antonio Zoli model 1900 would probably fit. If so, Zoli has quite a few dealers in the US who should be able to get a replacement trigger for you.
Thanks for clarifying that for me Steve, I always thought the chamberings were the same as for the lightweight but after reading that ad I thought I'd check.
P.S. I sent you a PM on an unrelated...
I see that the ad for the lightweight fullstock advertises it in 358 Mag and 7mm Mag. Have any of you ever come across these calibers in a fullstock? This is the first time i've seen reference to...
You've come to the right place, there are plenty of Husqvarna nuts on here to help you out. I'm relatively new to these rifles but from the info I have it is likely a model 640 made in 1948. There...
I'm looking forward to reading what you've learned Arilar, thanks for taking the time to do this.
The bedding extends about 1.5 inches past the receiver, to the point where the barrel begins to taper.
I've been wondering, does the C and crown over the number 72 in the picture of my CG80 receiver indicate that this rifle was previously converted to the CG63 configuration by Carl Gustafs in 1972?. ...
Foudufoot, if you have some time would you be able to post some pics of the Schultz & Larsen M 69 match trigger? I'd like to see a few closeups of one to satisfy my curiosity.
Nice CG80 by the...
Are you sure its not 7X61? Quite a few M65DLs were made in the 7x61 Sharpe and Hart chambering. Apart from that I know very little about S&L rifles so i'll let someone more knowledgeable tell you...
Its a 1640 action and a very nice example too!
Hmm, a match in September eh? That would be fun, I have a feeling I'd be buying at Timmy's since I'm very much a rookie in the shooting game. Fortunately I think I can afford a couple cups of coffee....
That looks exactly the same as the trigger I have, although mine isn't marked S&L (in fact it has no visible markings). The adjustment screws are all the same though except for the set screw (d)...
Sorry, slight misunderstanding on my part. I agree with you that it would be nice to be able to get parts from the US easily again. Being such a large market the US has a much better selection...
Shipping them here is no problem, it comes from Voere in Austria via Sporteque in Drumondville Quebec who are their Canadian distributor. I'm waiting for the installation instructions from Voere,...
