    Default Resizing pics

Trying to upload pics but getting message "upload failed." I believe it's because my pics are too large. How can I re-size the pics on my computer so they will upload correctly? Each image is currently about 1.9mb

I'm into photography, have several image handling progams on the computer and prefer Irfanview for quickly resizing pics. It's virus free, stand alone and doesn't cost a thing. If you try it, I'm almost willing to bet you'll grow to like it.

I downloaded it but where is the desktop located?
I usually save to my desktop so I remember to delete after posting..
I have been useing Picasa3 which is also free and has a ton of filters and special effects to mod your pix..
A quick answer for trouble posting is just set your camera to 640x480 and post to your hearts desire here...
plus it takes a lot less of your cameras storage memory and you don't have to resize....:D

I really like the Picasa horizontal tilt tool. Easiest one out there to use. The Irfanview equivalent requires a bit of practice by comparison.

    Orion,
    If I got that right...
You downloaded Irfanview (saved to your desktop) and now you can't find it?
