They had a great price on once fired M80 cases so I got some delivered today. I don't recognize these headstamps, though.
Among the usual LC were:
PMJ
PSD
SBS
TAA
All with the NATO cross and all dated 07 or 08. Any ideas who made these?

I miss Cooper's Corner
If you don't have a safe, get one.
They are all off-shore contracts for US training ammo. I believe the first is Igman or Prvi Partizan, second is South Korean, the third is Spain. I would venture a guess that TAA is morphed from TZZ, making it Israeli.

(PMJ) Poongsan metals from south korea. In 2005 uncle sam contracted with outside suppliers to help relieve the ammo shortage and they were one of the contractors who got the contract. It is far superior to lake city of the same vintage. This stuff is what is in iraq right now with our troops and they are pulling the 50 stuff from links and using it in their barretts because it is giving superior accuracy to their loose issue stuff. They contracted for all 3 small nato calibers and they are all great loadings. The brass is clean and bright on the factory stuff, not oily and cruddy like the current lake city. I havent tried to reload any of the brass, but it looks equal to or superior in that regard as well. I think 2005 is the only vintage you will see as lake city is on the upswing now and uncle is not buying any more.About Ammunition Headstamp Code: PSD
Ammunition Country of Origin: Korea
About the Ammunition Manufacturer
Poongsan Metal Manufacturing Company Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea (probably at the Dongrae Ammunition Plant)I believe the SBC head stamp mentioned should be SBS that stands for Santa Barbara Systems or Spanish mfgTitle: Re: Name that Headstamp

Igman headstamp would be IK for Igman Konjic
If a man has nothing greater to believe in than himself, he is a very lonely man.
It would be IK, unless they did not want it identified as such, as in this case. I have the PMJ headstamps, and they're in boxes that are always associated with Prvi or Igman production.

So your saying that Prvi and Igman is the same manufacture? I have read that the Prvi brass is quite good but tried to sell some IK 30-06 cases on the trader and no-one wanted them because they questioned the quality. Just a lack of knowledge I guess because I did not know that either. I guess I have several hundred very good quality 30-06 cases I can feel good about reforming to 8x57. Good to know.

No, I just couldn't recall which it was, but I'm leaning towards Igman. I haven't checked my records yet, but it is one or the other.
