    Default Martini Henry Action Greener GP Shotgun

    Hi All

    First post so please be gentle...

    I have a 12guage Greener GP, does anyone know how i can go about dating it?

    I'd send flowers, then go for the dinner and a movie routine. :D

    You'll need to post a complete description and list the markings (with photos if possible). I'm sure once you do that someone might be able to get you close....in regard to a date....when the gun was made!

    Post the serial number here on the board and make the last three digits XXX. I will look the numbers up for you.

    Just a point for education. You shotgun is not a Martini Henry. THe Martini Henry is the British Military Henry in 577/450 calliber with a Henry rifled barrel. What you have is a Greener pattern Martini action.
