    Question No 4 Mk1 T mount question

    I found a mount that is made out of brass. It has some age on it and quite a bit of the black paint is missing. All the mounts I have seen in the past were made of steel. Any clue as to what it is?

    As you. All the T" mounts I have experienced were iron castings machined to fit. Gary

    Perhaps you have an Israeli 4(T) one copied from the original British cast malleable iron one. The israeli scope copy of No 32 was made from either Brass or Bronze.

    A friend has an Israeli 4 (T) rig in his collection, but sorry no pictures.
