WTS Original U.S. trapdoor sling for 1873 springfield
Sling is intact, some surface cracking, sling is sound, but not sound enough to use as a sling...display only. Leather is supple. Has a sewn leather loop on one end and a single hook on the other. There is a second sling loop present. Marked "W. H. Hartzell, Rd Dept Insp in an oval near the loop end. I understand that this sling is proper for early trapdoors. $200 shipped
That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart; his passport shall be made,
And crowns for convoy put into his purse;
We would not die in that man's company
That fears his fellowship to die with us.
