Default Ruger 1911 or CZ 97b

Has anyone shot one ? I have a .45 itch and I have some time on my hands and I have been looking at the CZ97b also.

have one not shot it.....rugers in 45 seem to be more accurate than 9 mm's in my limited experiences with them...if i was getting a new gun cz 97b...would be the choice!

Good luck finding the Ruger SR-1911....Gunbroker is about the only place and the guys want way more than retail for them since they aren't up to speed on the production numbers. Dealers have to buy "X" amount of other Rugers to be able to even get one in their distribution. My dealer said he wasn't playing that game. I've bought a couple of Rugers from him and he generally has a good supply of others, but hasn't been able to even get to the numbers required to get one...
