Default WWII 1942 dated PPSH41 parts kit, current market price??

    hi guys,

A buddy of mine has a complete (all Soviet) made 1942 dated PPSH 41 parts kit with soviet drum mag, and UN CUT TRUNION, that he purchased from Inter-ordnance back in 2002. I am interested in buying it from him and build into a semi auto gun.

I cant seem to find a going rate for this, because all I find is polish made parts kits............would like to know what the kit is worth before I make him an offer.

from what i have seen online and at shows it is probaly worth about $500 give or take. On gunbroker a pps43 parts kit with uncut trunnion and all saw cut receiver peices got a whopping $1300.00 bids.

I sold mine about a year ago. I wish I had gotten $1500 for it. It ended up taking me about a month or two to sell it and that was after multiple price reductions. I think some people were scared of the kit being one of the IO kits that the ATF recalled. Here is the link to my old for sale post.

I dont think the kit my buddy has came from there, but that was my guess. I do remember several companies selling them back in 1999-2002.

His kit does come with a soviet made drum mag, and stick mag, so thats gotta add to the price some.

Looking at what genuine soviet built AK47's and SKS's fetch........compared to the satilite copies, its gotta be at least 500 plus for it, and being its 1942 dated, more likely saw some action.
