    Question Savage 720 barrel Q's

Hey guys, another couple questions about Savage 720 shotguns.

The Browning patent semi-auto shotguns, including the Savage 720, Remington Model 11, and the Browning A-5, look like they have interchangeable barrels to some degree.

I am interested in obtaining a short slug barrel or rifled slug deer barrel that might lock up right on the Savage. Would anyone know whether a Remington Model 11 or Browning A-5 would work?

    Thanks.

R11 for starters. And it won't simply drop in. Will require fitting.

Thanks - trying to get some idea of what to look for at gun shows, in terms of used barrels for sale or trade.

lots of them on gunbroker. use that as a starting point, and consider buying one to cut down for rifled slugs.
