    Default Gun show

I went to a gun show today to look for some stuff and check out Mak stuff too. I only saw 1 commercial Mak and maybe 4 or 5 Bulgarians. All were priced around $300-350, most were well used and just the pistol and 1 mag. I didn't see any 9x18 ammo, or any extra mags.
I did see a Mak co2 pistol. It has the weight of a real pistol. The guy wanted $110 for it. I didn't need it, so I passed.
Prices were insane, esp. on ammo. All in all, it was a waste of time, but I wanted to see what was happening. They said the Saturday crowd was double what was there today. I can't imagine trying to see anything around so many people. I think I'll just stick to my favorite local gun shops in the future.

Gunshows for the next 6-12 months will be very long lines and very high prices.

I was at my local Gibson store yesterday. They were selling 9X18 FMJ ammo for $31.99 per 50rd. box. They told me it was rare and that is the price.

Jeez. Were they going to kiss you, too?

    PotM,

At that price, it must be reloads.

They have Brown Bear and Silver Bear. It's old stock, from before the panic. Don't know what it'll be when they put out new stock.

The reason the CO2 gun felt real is that it is real, as in a Makarov converted to CO2. Some years back the Brits got their bloomers in a bunch because they thought it might be possible to convert them back to the original configuration. As I recall, too much metal has been removed to make this possible.

These are pretty rare. Not sure what they are worth. CB
