I have a Haenel sporter in need of re-stocking. Are there any commercial options out there for a semi-inletted sporter stock for the Commission 88 receivers?
My guess would be that there is no commercial semi inlet for your rifle due to lack of any real market for such. Even a used stock of any sort which might be reasonably adapted is probably a difficult find. Unless your stock is toast, perhaps a good quality repair/refinish?
All said, however no expert here. Good luck!
Just my take.
Thanks. I am not ready to do a full inlet from a blank. Still learning to do semi-inletted blanks properly. May do a mock-up with the old stock, lots of filler and pins and send it to a duplicator if I can find one.
