Earlier this year, I was moving into a new office in Kabul and found this in my desk drawer. It is missing its grips, recoil spring, and firing pin. Russian style magazine. Note the mag is deformed--vertical gap at the base of the mag is pinched closed. The slide has cyrillic-numeric markings (serial number?) and "Tashquend" (Tashkent Uzbekistan?) on it. Enjoy.
I looks like there are at least some Russian parts on it. The hammer and safety are the investment cast type. A lot of the rest looks like a good Darra, Pakistan copy but it is hard to tell. If the bore is not chrome plated then it would definitely not be Russian made. The late date is another clue. Thanks for sharing. ABTOMAT
