Red face It is Not my first struggle: safety in firing pin groove.

This Bulgy is my 5th actual Mak. for the tribe.

Mein Kampf begann vor 25 Minuten (25 min. ago). Usully it takes about 10 min.
The pin's groove opening is exactly in the 6:00-9:00 position, as on the other Bulgy I just checked. Lubed with CLP.

The safety's tiny rod/pin goes in the hole, allowing it to smoothly rotate part of the required angle.
This gets old. Time for a news/dinner break.

We've all been there one time or another. Avoid sledgehammers. I know they are inherently satisfying but you'll regret it in the morning. ABTOMAT

As a Dummkopf, I had forgotten that the safety must be forced downward with a little sharp force. Embarassing.

Interesting last name you have there. Does this sort of behavior run in your family?

    Red face

Ronbo6: In my fake Asian accent, "You so funny! You earn flee cup won ton soup! Oh yuu want lice?"

Not among the clan, it begins and ends with my 'doof' mistakes.
But today's trade made me feel a bit better: an Enfield plus cash for my first Rom. AK derivative, a decent SAR-1, the male donkey version.

Sit down for this news...that trade (on Wed.) for the second Bulgy brought the addiction up to five Maks!
This must be a US record.
