Default A Few more consecutive serial numbered Finns

HogsWilds earlier post showing his consecutive serial numbered upgraded Dragoons prompted me to dig the rifles out in the next post and snap pictures. Lots of searching, luck & good friends came into play to land these consecutive #'s. I had posted pictures of my M24s back a few years ago here http://forums.gunboards.com/showthre...umbered-Mosins .

Some time back I would have thought they were neat. Then I started to learn a little more about Finnish Mosins. I bought a M39, found a capture 91/30, then another. I have grown very fond of the Finnish rifles and now only collect Finns and Finn capture rifles. I must say, today, I find them more than just neat. I am incredibly impressed by what you have managed to find. Very nice

Here are two consecutive 1941 straight stocked M39s. Both have matching bolts and floor plates. Thought I was the only nut job that went for the numbers thing! Wrong again. Regards, John.

"Thought I was the only nut job" John some days this also describes me to a "T".

Thanks for posting your pair of consecutive #s. The SS 39s are some of my favorite. A lot of the early SAKO M39s do have the matching numbers on the floor plates.
