    Default British Patents (NOT PATTERN)

I am looking for information on British patents associated with the Lee-Metford/Enfield rifles. Does anyone know where I might go to find a list of them.

Probably The Patent Office as they're the repository for such information.

If you are a serious researcher, you might consider the 7 volume hardbound reprint (with paperbound index booklet) Patents for Small Arms which covers British small arms Patents (synopsis, not full patent) from 1877 to 1930. Available in the late 1990's by George Hoyem, Armory Publications. I don't know if they are still available or are only on the used book market. The price then was around $250.
