Default 2 ex PEMs & SAKO with stock disk

    Hello everyone,
Picked up a few sweet Mosin's at the gun show yesterday.
I got two 1939 Ex PEMs that are both MO marked, which I've never seen. Anybody seen any others like these? I got one for $260 and the other for $300 because it has a bent bolt but it doesn't match. Not much of them do Pretty good deals.
I also got a 1942 SAKO with a stock disk. I can't quite find any info on the disks anybody knowledgeable on them? Got that one for $358. I think I got some good deals. Not sure what I want to do with the ex snipers. I got a guy who wants one and Idk if I want to convert it back or not. It'd be sweet but a Lil pricey. Click image for larger version.

    1. PSTO/KARPR is 1st artillery battalion of the Karelia Brigade, 71 being the rifle number. (PSTO = patteristo = artillery battalion, KARPR = Karjalan Prikaati = Karelia Brigade) A post-war unit, (link to official web site) Karelia Brigade was founded in 1957. The 1st artillery battalion of KARPR (and some other artillery units) eventually merged and transformed into the Karelia Artillery Regiment (Karjalan Tykistörykmentti, KARTR), a sub-unit of KARPR, which trains conscripts for artillery units; I served my conscription in the unit. KARPR is located in Vekaranjärvi garrison in south-east Finland.

Wow I thought there'd be more hype on the Ex PEM MO marked Tulas. Don't see those much at least I haven't.

Good prices; my first 91/30 was a 39 EX-PEM sniper that I bought off a stack of boxes sight unseen. The gun shop owner filled out the paperwork from the info on the box and I took it home unopened. Took me a while to figure out what I had. That started the slippery slop of collecting Soviet sniper rifles! The MO marked ex-snipers are not all that common and those still in original sniper configuration are even harder to find.
Looking for PU scope number 10062. See post http://forums.gunboards.com/showthre...light=pashutr3

That's a pretty awesome Mosin for your first one. I know what you mean about the slippery slope.I'm straight up on ice now I can't stop..lol I didn't really know what he had at first. I just seen ex sniper and those always intrigue me and figured it's a ex PU. As soon as I saw it was MO marked I wanted it then found it out was an Ex PEM was even better. I had to buy both. He said he's got more. He says he's got over 300 Mosin's which is nuts. That's be nice to stumble upon one in original sniper configuration but I'd sure have to pay for it..
