Default Husqvarna 270 - Which model is this?

    Hello,

New here. But very interested in finding out the model of the Husqvarna that I own. I have had it for over 15 years now, and it shoots well, but I am thinking of having the stock changed out because the butt of the stock was cut off and then re-glued back. As well the foregrip is quite worn....
    Can anyone help me?

This is what is on the barrel.

    husqvarna vapenfabriks ab 133685

    Also, the approx value?
    Thanks!

Welcome aboard. Now I'm the first to admit, the HVA knowledge is very lacking on my part. But I do know that is a later FN actioned rifle of the (H) variety. I'll not even try and guess which model it is(maybe a 1000 or 1100).Let's await the arrival of the local Gurues to be sure.

    Thumbs up

Welp, my shot is it's a later Model 640 on the FN action. Beech stock. It seems that the Swedes were'nt immune to chopping the buttstock to fit, and/or adding another chunk on later to lengthen it. Apparently it's very common on europen shotguns, I'm told, although perhaps done a little cleaner. There are guys who'll float through and give you all the details. I know we have some very knowledgeable Canadians who could help with the value. Nice rifle! What caliber?????
