Hello all, I have added this question in an old thread of mine so apologies for repeating.
Just seen this picture of this M14 sniper setup and my mouth started watering.
I've got to know, what scope / mount are these please, I love the packing tape on the cheek piece also ?
standard m-14, (has a selector switch) , possibly a s&b 4x16 pm11 scope but probably a night force with an almost Spuhr looking scope mount ( i do not think nf was ever u.s military issue ?) glass hand guard, wood stock, mil gas, field expedient cheek rest , but hard to tell the mount without the other side. Looks like scoped standard mil issue unless it is not.
The A.R.M.S. #18 mount works very well for a setup like pictured and will sit a bit lower, enough that the iron sights can be used without removing the mount.

Roger that; I guess it was just the angle shown in the OP's pic. Looked longer than standard, at first glance.
