Stock has been sanded (which hurts) but other wise a nice rifle. I would say the value is some where around $2,600 to $3,000. Good luck in the sale.

Thanks!I thought it was cleaned or a real light sand job, must have been a long time ago as you can feel the grain of the wood,no varnish, and stock hangs over buttplate and trigger guard is recessed like it should be also see no sanding marks on metal. Its not a ruined stock like some I have seen.I think it could bring 2500.00 ,that's pretty good as I only paid 400.00 for it 20 years ago. This was listed on a dealers site that dealt in newer firearms,it was a trade in,no pics,I called the seller and asked if there was a number on bottom of buttstock and did it match rifle? He said I don't know let me look, he said there is and it looks like it matches.Well I couldn't send the money fast enough, shipping was 15.00 back then.Even at that time it was a screaming deal, when I got it and checked internals I was very happy.

Yeah the sanding is not too bad. The serial number and acceptance stamps are still visible. With what you bad you will definitely making money. If nothing else, let me know and I will double your money by giving you $800 for it

Thanks for the offer but maybe 3 times that would be closer,ha!Anyway thanks for the comments! If the stock had not been messed with it would be a 3k rifle, but not complaining for 400.00.The earlier nice cond G43 mag is probably worth close to what I paid for the rifle.I have heard the DUVs were actually better made than the Walthers.Need a nice original sighthood and they can be found but not cheap I don't imagine. Here are some better pics of stock proofs, there is a pretty good one on bottom of grip.My old camera does not do this justice,it looks better in hand.

Nice duv G43s bring more then $3,000 these days. So I think you rifle is worth $2,500 at least.

I have seen pictures your bcd I believe. From what I remember it is really nice. It has a duffel cut correct?
