I would say much more then $30. I sold a VKT example on GB years ago for almost 3x that. Tough SVT tools to find.

At least one tool (bigger, with notch for muzzle break) in his ad is a reproduction

Possibly we are talking about different items.
    These are obviously fresh made

The one tool is VKT and the other is marked V-S any idea on maker? I will probably ebay them, I thought $30 was extremely low also. Any thoughts on the prices I should list them at?

And poorly made ones at that! I just received one today from seller Stalingrad42 and the pentagonal hole for the gas adjustment is way too large.

I expected them to be reproductions because of the low price, but I didn't expect them not to work.

Here it is(top) next to a real tool.

No, no, no, you got that wrong, they were straight from a whorehouse in Siberia. (it was probably a translation error)

Well, Stalingrad42 is going to have another tool made with the correct dimensions and send it to me at no cost. He did not make these and was unaware that they were out of spec. He has been very good to deal with and we have had excellent communication despite the fact that we speak different languages and are depending on Google translate.

The tool is quite nice in every other respect.

Hopefully he has several more made to correct dimensions and offers them to the community. $36 shipped is a very good price for a quality reproduction tool.
