Those look sort of like the three ostrich feathers used by the Prince of Wales, yes they do.

Never have much cared for rye, but may be an artifact of never drinking much of it and not knowing what was good and what wasn't. I think they used to make a lot of it on the East Coast, places like Mt. Vernon, Baltimore, etc.. I know that they have reconstructed Washington's distillery and supposedly his recipe to distill rye there now.

Never been in SW Virginia or the Shenandoah at the right time, but do recall seeing lots of apple orchards and (closed) stands a time or two when in it.

Yeap.. should be able to find enough seasonal workers to pick fruit in any of the coal states.

It's beef steak when I'm hungry
Rye whiskey when I am dry.

used to be a bunch of large orchards in central Va, near Farmville,
passed thru a few when I was a kid on the way to So Boston,

something happened, not sure if it was a blight, or the owners just never maintained the trees,
they are all gone now, at least the ones you could see from the road,,

Those do look good. But some mighty fine peaches are grown in Northeast Tejas (around Pittsburg).

    Cool

Wars pushed a woman's worth past social morals, orders and work place needs through accomplish facts.
This gave great value to a woman's worth in what was the "mans" world!

Never put back in Pandora's box.....as some think should be and caused more than one the sexual revolution!

Any job can be attempted by men or a woman, on almost any level physically and most certainly on mental levels.
Even in military stitutations considered these days....Israel women armed are good looking too!
Feathers would now be given to both men and woman....
given by maybe children, elderly or disabled vets of all sexes?
