I have this Styer M95 short rifle and I was hoping someone with a little more experience than me could help with. It has an Austrian acceptance date of 1908. Not a cut down infantry rifle. Original 8x50mmR chamber. Non Bulg.rework. 5'' between the nose cap and barrel bands, bottom sling swivels. Rear sight in Schritt. Front sight replaced with band. A Yugoslavian Elm handguard for top wood. It was my impression that anything that made it to Serb/Yugo would have been rechambered by this time. Any thoughts? I have more pics if needed.

A closeup of the muzzle/front sight would help.

Mauser front sight, Mauser handguard... Are there any Serbian proofs? Without proofs it's hard to claim it is a legitimate Serbian rework.

Usually T + crown above it (T = tormentacija)
