Thread: Interesting CZ-82 post on another site.

Default Interesting CZ-82 post on another site.

Disclaimer: I know next-to-nothing about CZ-82's, but I thought it seemed
interesting in any case. I only own one and have never even fired it.
Interesting posts #8, #13 and #21 at the below link:
    http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=85311.15
(One might look at post #8, #13, then read up through the paragraph of post #21 that starts
"This revelation", and then stop reading. (I would skip reading
the last paragraph of post #21, just my opinion).
    (I am a HUGE fan of the Bulgarian/Russian/German single-stack
makarov's with the milled frames. So, please no one beat up on
me for this post. I just thought it sounded interesting. Interpret
posts #8, #13, and #21 as you best see fit -- maybe they are right -- maybe
they are wrong -- I make no claims nor comments either way...)

I think he should fire his own CZ 82. Maybe then he could answer some of the questions.

Years ago I sold an excellent shape CZ50 to a guy who later that night, accidentally shot himself in the ankle/ leg when it fell out of his cheap nylon holster and landed hammer- first on his kitchen floor.

His wife was sitting across the table. She is actually the one who called to tell me what happened while he was in surgery.

The CZ 82 is drop safe if U engage the "Safety"! Many old guns are not drop safe like the CZ 50, 52, Tok etc... but people still collect them, so its best to know if a gun is or isn't drop safe!
