Just picked up a tower pistol from Dixie Gun Works at a recent gunshow. Want to disassemble it to clean it up a bit. Does anyone know how the barrel comes off? Got the tang screw off but the barrel must be pinned in the stock somehow but I can't figure out how. I do not see a hole in the stock where a pin would go through. Any advice would be appreciated.
some times you have to remove the lock plate screws to remove it. sometimes they go through the back of the breach plug tang where there is a hole in it, or some will have a notch in the rear of the tang holding it in.
I'm not familiar with your gun, but there are often several pins fastening the barrel to the stock. They must be a way to punch them out. Sometimes, one side of pins is concealed underneath the lock.
