    Default Modified Japanese bayonet

Hello ...I'm new to this forum and this is my first posting!
I have this Japanese type 30 bayonet made by Nagoya but as you can see its been reburbished/altered....but by who?...China?..Siam?..
The wooden grips still have the oval washers that are typical of Japanese bayonets and they've been covered in some sort of very thick varnish, the crossguard is totally new and the bayonet locking lug has been placed on the right (as opposed to the left) of the handle
I hope someone can help me with this!!

This is a modified T30 Bayonet altered to fit any Mauser 98 the Chinese had! German, Belgian, Czech & Chinese War lord Arsenal copies. Many came into the US around 1985 & disappeared into collections. I myself had about a dozen variations. Nice bayonet!
