    Default grease cookies

I know that grease cookies are used in the 577/450 M H. I would like to know if they are used in the 577 SNIDER case? I cant find any info on them being used in the 577 SNIDER.

The difference being the 577-450 is paper patched and the Snider bullet usually has lube grooves. Saying that, I have a smooth sided Snider mould that I load with a beeswax felt wad under the bullet and over a card disc.

fred2892, thank you, finally somebody got back to me with an answer. now that makes sense!. if I shoot .577 MINIES in it the grease in the MINIES groves is sufficient for lubrication.

Is it the same as the musket projectile? I might assume so but I have never loaded ammo for the Snider.
