    Default A RUPERTUS rifle?

I was at the monthly gun auction (I love Pennsylvania) and came across this very unusual rifle. Its a very well made single shot cartridge rifle of the late 1800's. What is cool is its action. Depressing the lever in front of the trigger allows you to rotate the barrel and eject the spent brass. A 38 special will fit and fire, although I think it was made for an obsolete 38. I found a possible match in CARTIDGES OF THE WORLD, a 38 long. Anyone have info on it? Seems to have been made in Philadelphia.
