    Default Tula PU Sniper

This one is touted as being an Ishevsk sniper (think its a Tula). Also described as not being a post-WWII rebuild but an "original" sniper. Serial number is DO 44. Receiver is dated 1944. Scope is dated 1942 and has box with "X" inside on side. What say you? Thanks. djClick image for larger version.

First off, different rifle is shown on the one red background pic, and that one is a fake.

Best guess on the rifle in the other pics is that it's a genuine postwar refurbed PU. Higher resolution pictures would be necessary to say 100%, however.

Isn't this the same conversation we had a few weeks ago, including a fake on a red background?

No, this is a different sniper. For some reason, the pic with the red background keeps popping when I insert photos. Not sure what I am doing to make that happen. The red background is the same one as my other posts.

This is a Tula sniper correct?

All indications point to a Tula sniper. CH stamp is a good sign. Original issue is incorrect as it as been refurbed but that is not a bad thing. Tula stamped snipers are harder to find.
