    Default Is there a SKS in 22 LR

    I have seen a AK that is in 22 LR cal so is there a SKS in 22 LR? I think i seen one on a auction and would like to know more.

    No, but there were a few imported in .223

    Maybe a miniature SKS... could use some cheaper manufacturing like stamped receiver. And the whole thing low cap and semi-auto from the get go.

    Is there high cap 22LR magazines? Ocala Armory had Italian 22LR smg looking gun with drum (?) magazines (Pietta PPS-50).

    At the fall Tulsa show, now y'all aint gonna believe me, but I swear I handled a .50 black powder SKS! :eek::D Can't remember what the markings were exactly but I remember it was a fifty and the caliber and model markings on the left side of the receiver all appeared to be factory done.
    The dealy where you put the nipple? charge thing was built into the chamber and there were also some major differences in the bolt face.
    I shiatt you not this thing must have been a factory creation!
    Oh, and it was Chinese!
    Anyone else seen or heard of anything like this???

    And no, I had not been smoking any 'exotic' forms of imported 'tobacco' that morning!! :D

    Lightbulb Air Soft SKS?

    Who knows? I'm still intrigued with the thought os a .22 rimfire SKS.
