I assume there is no permanent alteration to the rifle? If so Put me down for a set.

For those that may want a smaller (or larger) aperture, it looks like there is enough room to drill out the existing aperture and tap the hole so a Merit adj aperture disc can be easily installed - then pick your own hole (well, so to speak,) Brownells sells them:

Things are still on schedule for mid October. I will have a better idea of a delivery date next week or on Friday. Thanks to all who have emailed me. I will respond to the emails when the dates are solid and promise to get the parts out as quick as I can get them blued and oiled up.

The front blade will be .050" wide. Thanks for the feedback, this was a good suggestion.

Happy Shooting,
Jason

Gosh I have not been to the range in a month! High Power match next weekend : )

Good deal for sure and certainly demand for same!.. prices for just a rear peep would be wise...

I would take at least 3 sets of front and rear plus some of the rear peep only....

I have have four "Peep blades" already. Two look like yours the other two are similar idea but more like sheet steel bent and cut to fit with a peep drilled.....

If anyone is interested I could take pics of the differences

Thanks for all of the emails everyone.

Well, the sights are a few days late in arrival but I'm working with a machinist that is out of town on these so they may be held up in the mail. They were supposed to of shipped on Fri or Mon; so hopfully they will be here by Sat. so I can start to blue them while I have some time off of work after my High Power match.

Anyways once they are all ready to go I will start going through my emails and resoponding to them in the order that they were received. I'm looking forward to putting them on and putting some rounds down range with my new B barrel.

They should be ready to ship next week. Thanks for being patient. Work has really picked up at my job so I know things for alot of other manufacturers are on the up de up and that is good for the economy.

Happy Shooting,
Jason

HA! They came in today, mail person hid them behind something. They were oil soaked instead of oil free so I have to wash them in acetone a few times to clean them. I'll give an update when they are ready!
SWEET!

Thumbs up I want a set and will send funds now

I want a set with the old and with the new front sight blade. Old eyes are hurting my shooting so your set is a god send.

Let me know where t o send money order.

I am definitely in dire need of this sight solution for my shooting

Looks really neat! I'm interested in a set.
Is there any alteration or drilling required to the rifle itself?

The sights for the M39 are ready to go! I installed a set yesterday and they have a great sight picture. The narrow front blade looks really sharp and should enable for more precise shooting especially when combined with the rear peep sight.

I responded to all of the emails in my inbox at my yahoo email address. One or two bounced back. There are several sets of sights that are still up for grabs if you have not emailed me.

Thanks to all and happy shooting, J

I got a question. My m39 shoots about 6in high at 100yrds. Would this sight system fix that? Is the front post taller than the original? I may be interested in a set. It looks like a nice product, but I may wait for a few reviews.

Smile M-39 Sights

I got my sights Friday and they are fantastic! I put them on in about 1 minute and they have a great sight picture. The sights are of exceptional quality and are a great value. Thank you for your effort to make this project a success!

Thanks for the feed back! I hope everyone enjoys them and all of you have been a pleasure to deal with. Gezzz, I need to find the time to hit the range myself now that it's not so hot.

If anyone has an idea for something that they would like made, shoot me a line to discuss. These projects are fun and I like to work with folks and design things to make life eaiser or more enjoyable.

Bob G, your email bounced twice maybe you have a tight firewall set up or something. I'll try to send you info again tomorrow.

Bill (BCR) please check the email against the post above. I sent replies to everyone today and try to check and reply daily but work gets me swamped on occasion. Yes I am planning to have a few more sets made for the folks who did not get some this time around.

Rifleamone, I'm sorry but these sights are specific to the M39.

Default Great Sight Set

Perfect fit, easy to install and I have posted my results on the Collectors Forum

My results: beyond my expectations. Bloody Wonderful results.

Exactly what I needed to get accuracy with my old eyes that struggle with the notch
rear sight but do (for now) well with peep sights.

These sights do not harm the weapon and do not require gunsmithing to put on. Mojo sights require taking rear sight leaf off and replacing it.

THis is a 2 minute replacement drill that is not permanent and it is a great value in my opinion.

And since I value my opinion, I think a lot of these sights.
