Military Shooters is now offering the GunBoards membership the chance to sign on for a group buy of our Polish 7.62x25mm ammunition. This is the 50’s dated 86gr FMJ ammunition we have been discussing. It is packed in sealed tins of 1260 rounds each. The DELIVERED price will be $135.00 per single can. If you want (2) or more the price will be $132.50 each. If you are interested in participating please follow these instructions.
Go to our web site www.militaryshooters.com. Under FEATURED ITEMS select 7.62x25 and choose the quantity that you desire. Proceed to check out and run thru the normal order sequence. At the bottom of select payment option section there is a “Coupon Code” box. If you want just a single tin of the 7.62x25 enter GB76225 into the coupon code box. If you desire (2) or more tins enter GB76225-2. Our order system will than recalculate your order to reflect the correct delivered price. Please do not enter any other products on this order besides the 7.62x25 ammunition. We are looking to move 100 cans of this ammo, we will not process any orders till that level has been reached. We will post updates on progress to this listing so you know how close we are getting. Thanks - MP5 Pol-1.jpgPol-4.jpgPol-3.jpg

I realize your just trying to make some sells like a regular retailer, but the Romanian surplus is good stuff. It's thirty years newer than this Polish ammo, and more dependable. And to say that the Polish ammo your selling will have no cracks while other Polish ammo on the market from the same time period will is kind of ignorant. It all comes from the same place/time/manufacturer. It's cheaper to get a C&R license and buy this Polish stuff straight from Century Arms who imports it to begin with. Less than $100 for one tin shipped. |

I beg to differ Johnnyde. The Polish 7.62x25 ammo that CIA is selling is stated as being cracked because it comes from a known lot that has this defect.
The ammo we are selling will not come from this defective lot, It has been inspected by the importer and us. It shows no crack defects. It is 100% surefire. CIA did not bring over all of the 7.62x25 from Poland, there are several other importers working that area. CIA knows what they have, they bought it cheap to sell it cheap. I think it is an error to call the members of the board ignorant. You get what you pay for in this world, there are no free rides. If you want to try a can of the Polish and make an informed judgement to post on the boards, jump in and get a can with the group buy. Regards - MP5 - Military Shooters LLC |

I got my can a few days ago and I can confirm after opening 3 boxes-----there are no cracks in this ammo... However, There was a few that had some small spots of rust, but I don't think that will affect it much as I've shot ammo that looks worse with no problems...Except for the one I just found:
![]() Now, I don't know if showering in a bathroom about 10 feet away that's separated by a doorway would be enough to cause this much rust over 3 days....but so far this is the only cartridge I've found that looks like this. I will be examining the rest of it for the rest of the night now. Upon scraping it with a knife, it appears to not be internal so far... I'm going to sacrifice this bullet to see if the rust is internal... Conclusion by someone who has never examined what a rusted through bullet casing looks like: It does not seem to go internally, and if it does----it's not noticeable due to the fact that the inside is not polished (of course). Of three boxes I've opened so far, after examining every bullet, I've noticed that a lot of them have TINY spots of rust...but that's to be expected with surplus, I've found 3 *Plus the one in the picture* that I wouldn't fire, One of them looks safe but I'm being cautious. The other two have rust that goes from the shoulder to the bullet All in all, so far so good. Looks to be above average in consistency, I know where I'll be buying my tokarev ammo. Still need to shoot it though Last edited by Bruce Hair Willis; 10-27-2009 at 07:36 PM. |

It all depends on the crimp. If it has the 3 dimple crimp, it will most likely have cracks. If it has the compression crimp (similar to lee factory crimp die), it will not have cracks. The cracks are almost microscopic. Most only show under magnification. Until you shoot it, that is
PLEASE...... post pix of your tin lids. It's one of my small related side hobbies recording the different lots of this stuff. Last edited by Morning Wood; 10-27-2009 at 10:46 PM. |

on a side note what would be the best method of longer term storage for this ammo. i already have an open tin of romanian so i wont be shooting this for a while. I leave all my ammo in spam cans normally before i need them then trransfer it to dry storage boxes after opening. I know its been in these tins for 5o years but i didnt know if the dry storage boxes were better

It's completly possible the the brass lot in this ammo group buy was malleable enough to withstand the point crimp and remain uncracked for nearly 60 years. Which I hope is the case here. I haven't had any from your lot (as displayed in pic), so I can't really expound on this particular lot. But I wish you the best of luck with it. But if the group buy admins say it is uncracked, I would tend to trust what they say. and BTW, Thank you for the picture. I have saved a copy for future reference. I'm sure there will be many posts about it's performance. |

Here are the pics of my can and a couple of the boxes.
The cases are nice and bright with a 3 dimple crimp. Cases are stamped 54 and 343 in an oval. I guess this stands for 1954 and a factory number? Hope to shoot some next week if the rain stops. I am considering buying a boat, something around 300x50 cubits. |

My shipment arrived Thursday, within a couple of days of order, even though Colorado was having the worst storm in 10 years. Spam can was tight, with no damage. Ammo is clean and looks fresh.
Many thanks to MP5 for putting this together for us. PS: My tin is marked 63-54- "343 in an oval" Last edited by gun_nut_73; 10-31-2009 at 05:44 PM. |
