Instant notification
I use to get instant notification of PM's and subscribed threads. For some reason it has stopped. I've got the box check to receive them and nothing has changed with my e-mail settings.

I'm having the same problem, no notification for subcribed threads or sections.

I also have the same problem - I brought this up with Vic, he said to check to make sure the box is checked in the User CP - which it is, but still I am not getting notification.
I am also not getting my Gunboards paycheck - supposed to be direct deposit, but Vic has been debitting my account instead of depositing. Says he lives in Nigeria and keeps promising he will transfer his Uncle's millions to my account ------

I'm still not getting any instant notifications or e-mails. I have not changed any settings and use to not have a problem. Please help

You did not have the notifications set for email notice on a thread or subscription to a thread settings set. You also had no PM allowed set. On a third note you have a g-mail account and the free accounts want to read our messages as spam and will block or dump them into a spam account or delete box. So almost all of the issues are usually a BS email account used to sign up then when no notices come like the user registration link email the user wonders why they don't get it.

Not sure if your referring to me or not. My Default Thread Subscription Mode is set for Instant e-mail notification.
I also have checked the box : that the forum can send a message to your email address to inform you when someone sends you a private message. check by Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages This is what I'm not being notified of. My e-mail is busted1200@att.net I do not have a g-mail account. Been using the boards for years and never had a problem up until a few months ago, it just stopped. Also if someone tries to send me an e-mail using the board feature, I do not get it. I get PM's just fine, it just I don't receive an e-mail when ever I get a new one.

As stated earlier, I'm having the same problem. I've vanquished my cookies, re-established my cookies, set notifications on off and on and still no notifications. My email is @sbcglobal.net so not the free ones either.
It was working perfectly fine, then just stopped working. Hope you can debug this mystery of life. Ed
