  1. Society may be in a new Dark Age when it comes to popular understanding of basic science. The growth of ignorance and superstition not only has mind-stunting effects in its own right, but half-understanding of the physical world may suggest opportunities to make money via false litigation.
  2. hi nick
time all in all about 5hr. that would be remoiving the old barrel doing the math ,lathe work, fitting the barrel to the rec. extractor cut, opening up the barrel chanel in the stock, drilling and tapping the rec. and milling a scope mount. so did it happen in 5hr. no way i always have about 50 + things going on at all times will i get them all done no way . how did this all start the same way they all start what can i do with this barrel? what can i put it in? my latist is a 42" long 58cal. black powder barrel that i put in a junk 98 mauser and made a shell from a 28ga. shotgun shell base by adding some brass to it and a miniball so as you can see it just don't stop about how well it shoots i am useing the albanin ammo and it works just fine 3-1/2" @100yd.

I'm near Milwaukee in Wisconsin, and about how long did it take you to re thread the dp28 barrel? It sounds pretty cool, and I have a mosin with a junk barrel that I was considering replacing, and that would be the perfect barrel. How does it shoot?

I saw your post about putting MG barrels on bolt rifles, and I was wondering how you did it, and where you get your barrels. Thanks
