I've got a new laptop I'm using now. I'll crank up the old laptop and get it to you as soon as I can. I just haven't had the heart to change my avatar, as it's kinda grown on me after all this time.

thanks for back up heads i read the rules and didn't use the term directed toward a person, people or race.....sensitivity scale very high on this board for sure...but thanks
i was blind sided to the use of a common normal term related to a rifle that i have used 40 + years herd others use even longer....
  5. That guy is either ignorant or a dead beat. That is a Japanese trainer worth may $100. All Mexican Arisaka's had the mexican crest and were chambered and rifled in 7x57. That guy is the worst liar I have run across lately.

Check it out when you get the chance. Regards, Jericho.

    Hi Roy
I seriously thought about contacting you to rebuild the bolt, but it is such a mess, I knew that I would have way too much in it for what it is, that I decided to just part it out. There are so few of these in parts that I thought it would probably go relatively quick and many of them have! I have recovered my investment and the rest is a +.
You have done at least one bolt for me and I have another that I may send in = gotta get the spare cash first.

The bolt is listed, along with most of the other parts, on ebay. As I stated there, it does not work properly in the action and is, I think, a cut down T38 trainer bolt by the same mfg that would work in the childs trainer. I appears to have had the bolt handle cut off at the body and re-attached in the necessary position to work. It has been drilled and tapped for a 10/32 thread into position - not welded. I just gave up on locating a correct bolt for it and did as Don S suggested = since it will never be really correct, just part it out to recover the investment and perhaps make a bit. Had I been a machinist, I had some ideas as to how to make it work, but no equipment or knowledge to work with. So it became a parts gun - along with some others that are a mess otherwise and not worth restoring.

Would you please go back to your Colt Army thread and provide some detail about your friends Colt?
