Default WTS: Japanese Type 38 6.5x50mm **Photos Added**

    ***Photos Added***

    Hello,

I have for sale a Japanese Type 38 6.5x50mm long rifle in very good condition This piece is rather unique in that it does not have the Mum symbol of the emperor rather Chinese characters on top of the receiver. It was Chinese infantry rifle likely made by the Chinese in 1929 or 1930. It was manufactured in the Taiyuan Arsenal, Taiyuan, Shansi Province, Republic of China. The four characters-(LU-WU-BU-QANG) on the top of the receiver read vertically “Six-Five-Spear-Man”. This is interpreted functionally to read “Six/Five Infantry Rifle”.

The metal is about 85%, Wood is in very good condition with pronounced grain. The 31 inch bore has strong Metford type rifling and the grooves are just a hair dark. Chambered in 6.5x50mm, It is very accurate with low recoil. It particularly likes flat based bullets. $325.00 shipped. PM or email for any questions. Thanks.

**SPF*** ***ADDITIONAL ITEM*** I have a Lee Pacesetter dies, Lee case trim gauge, and 85 pcs. of PPU Brass. $55.00 shipped.
