Default mak-90 "folding" sights? night sights??

    Hi all,
I've have a Mak-90 that has a flip up rear sight leaf with white outlines & on the front is a wire bail with a sliding white dot. I always kinda assumed these are night sights, but can find no reference to them in the manual. if I search for Mak-90 images I don't see others with this sight set up. Googling for "ak night sights" doesn't bring anything else up. Might anyone be able to confirm this variation? is it unusual? or perhaps are just my google skills poor?
Thanks for any input you may have.

Cool accessory. I had not seen this type. My Yugo M70AB2 has night sights, the front one flips up from the front sight base.

Yep., as noted., DDR aka East German night sights.
    They are around.

Northridge sells them., and Liberty Tree Collectors and Robert RTG.

For a while E.German AK parts were all over the place, and dirt cheap. The contents of the DDR's army from uniforms to gun parts flooded the market for a while. Tons of E.German AK mags for usually 5.00 a pop. I used to buy the pouches of AK 74 mags in plastic, with cleaning kit, for $20.00 from Century when I had my FFL. In those days there were no 74's so they pretty much gave em away.
